Consoles and Movie Downloads - A Perfect Match
Gamers aren't just using consoles to play around anymore.
Back in November, Microsoft allowed consumer to subscribe to a Netflix movie downoad service. Now word comes that over 1 million people have signed up. In total, there are 17,000 movies to choose from in both standard and HD quality.
According to a story on Edge, video downloads are booming - to the tune of 174 percent growth compared to last year. Hmm...seems like part of Microsoft's plan to own the living room, which is why it got into home console business in the first place.
