“Game Focus Germany”, the Workshop and Network event for the German entertainment software industry, takes place annually in Hanover. The event concept, devised by and for publishers and developers, includes lectures and seminars which focus on the German entertainment software branch.
The fields of content, management, technology, science and politics are dealt with in the panels. Besides national themes, particular attention will be given to global developments by prominent international speakers.
“Game Focus Germany” is aimed at developers and publishers as well as employees in the management and marketing sectors and talented youngsters in the German games branch.
In 2008, over 350 trade visitors and numerous other renowned speakers from the USA, Great Britain, France, Belgium and Germany took part in the seminars by (among others) Doug Church (“Tomb Raider Legend”), Robin Hunicke (“My Sims”) and Kevin McGinnis, Senior Artist for the megasellers “Guitar Hero” and “Rock Band”, and also attended the evening branch party.
“Game Focus Germany" 2009 will be staged in the “Künstlerhaus” Hanover from 29 to 30 January.
